Great soccer match
The boys were down 3-0 against one of the best teams in the league and came roaring back to take the lead 4-3. But in the end, it was not to be as the visitors came out with a 5-4 victory. Nonetheless... a great match and pictures may be found here.

Luiz's UMF Match v. Colby College
We headed to UMF on Sunday to watch a match featuring former exchange student Luiz Ristow (Brasil). The boys invited fellow exchange student Robin Baxmann (Germany).

Simon did some heavy lifting for the Falcons last night while Jan played a steady, thoughtful defense in an 8-4 victory.

Someone rolled in poop!
While Simon and Jan got ready for the dance, Bailey and Rich went fro a run in the woods out back of the house. One of them rolled in poop... Obviously, this line welcomes many comments!
Pumpkin Carving
Our neighbor Gina Sullivan (Miles' mom) came up to watch a bit of the pumpkin carving. Self portraits? Truth be told, neither Jan nor I were all that up for a Saturday pumpkin fest, but Simon motivated us!
Mountain Valley High School Homecoming '11
Each fall the high school hosts its annual Homecoming Week. Athletic contests, school rally, parade, and a football game highlight the Friday.... on Saturday evening, there's a Homecoming dance. More pictures may be found *here*.
